The Eight-Year-Old wandered into the kitchen the other day while I was prepping a blueberry and spinach smoothie. While watching me stuff the blender with spinach and almond milk, she asked, “Mommyo, if you ate only spinach, how much spinach would you have to eat to maintain your weight?”
The Eight-Year-Old has been quite concerned by news that her cousin’s cat has been peeing all over their house. This is not approved cat behavior. The Eight-Year-Old is clearly mulling over potential causes. I’m sure that’s why I caught her reading the ASPCA Cat Care Manual and The Pet Vet series by Darrel and Sally Odgers this week.
