In which my daughter makes an educated guess about freeways
Preschooler, as mother drives onto the on-ramp for I-95:
“Mommyo, is this the freeway?”
Preschooler, a bit later:
“Does freeway mean there is no speed limit?”

My son started learning numbers a few years ago and was particularly taken with the number 100. 100 km/h is a common speed limit in Europe, so one day he started counting signs along the highway and announced that we could now drive 500 km/h. Apparently, he thought the limits were cumulative.
