While traveling through San Francisco International Airport last December, The Ten-Year-Old and I stumbled across a giant shoe sculpture by Yayoi Kusama called High Heels for Going to Heaven.
We came across this wonderful bit of public art somewhere in Panama City Beach, Florida over winter break. The words above the wings say “F.L.Y. First Love Yourself – others will come next…”
Every time we go to the farmer’s market I try to find at least one fruit or vegetable we’ve never had before. This week, we stumbled across a pale green cauliflower-shaped vegetable made of fractals. So of course, we took it home and roasted it.
