Wordless Wednesday: Scenes from Aspen

Photo of the top of the Rockies. It's mostly green, but there is some snow.

Since moving to California, we have been promising The Twelve-Year-Old that one day, we will go visit snow. Fortunately for us, the top of the Rockies still has snow. Hi snow! I hardly even missed you. (Photo: Michael Howell)

This summer, I got the chance to visit Aspen for the first time. So of course I took some pictures. Here are a few of my favorites.

blue sky, fluffy white clouds, over a landscape of dark forest and spring green grass.
Some random field, because Aspen has gloriousness to spare. (Photo: Michael Howell)
Deep blue evening sky. Trees are black outlines against it. I wish my phone could work this well at night.
Aspen at night. Wish my phone could take photos like these. (Photo: Michael Howell)
