He’s the first orange tabby I’ve ever had. I had never appreciated before how lovely all those creamy tones could be. But yes, when you spend as much time as I do staring at a cat to determine whether or not their next move will involve you bleeding, inevitably, you also notice their lovely markings.

My last cat was an orange tabby. She was the best cat I’ve ever owned. He’s a bit scratchy, eh?
