Wordless Wednesday: Isis the snake

Another in a long list of pets I’m glad that The Nine-Year-Old’s teachers keep at school, so we don’t have to keep them here at home. Isis the snake, The Nine-Year-Old tells me, is the sweetest snake ever. The Nine-Year-Old visits Isis faithfully every Thursday after school.

According to the Nine-Year-Old, Isis is an excellent starter snake for folks who want to learn to hold snakes. “Just remember to keep her out of your armpits.”

And on that note, is it Spring Break yet?
