Overheard while passing by The Five-Year-Old’s room at storytime…
The Five-Year-Old: “Daddyo, do you know all those imaginary friends I have?”
Daddyo, cautiously: “Yes.”
The Five-Year-Old, excitedly: “One of them had babies!”
Daddyo, enthusiastically: “Really? How exciting!”
Slight pause, then Daddyo, curiously: “Why are you lying on the ground?”
The Five-Year-Old, matter-of-factly: “To get a better look.”
