Bath Day

Hairs’ nest, your days are numbered. For now.

Mommyo, disentangling her fingers from the hairs’ nest on the back of The Five-Year-Old’s head on a recent Sunday morning: “It’s bath day today, I think.”

The Five-Year-Old: “Why?”

Mommyo: “Start the week off right.”

The Five-Year-Old: “I don’t want to start the week off right. I want to start it off wrong and end it the same way as the first day.”
