Every once in a while my daughter asks a question that is much more interesting than its answer. But while the answers to these questions are too dull to be blogged, the questions themselves can be rather fun. So without further ado, I present to you the first edition of Questions That Are Better Than Their Answers.

#278: “Mommyo, how did Rudolph get born with a flashing nose?”

Asked from the backseat of the car while driving down Route 1 on a cool August afternoon in Massachusetts.

The question was preceded by about 5 minutes of eery quiet.

Wouldn’t you love to know what was going on in that little mind in those five minutes?
