Some New Year’s resolutions are better than others

In this week's extract from my former Facebook archives, I resolve to only read green books.
Facebook post: "Shala Howell is reading books with green spines this week -- an unforeseen if happy side effect of combining a house in which books are organized by color with a personal decision to read the hundreds of unread books already in my house instead of buying new ones this year. Oh and cold medicine. I'm fairly certain Robitussin has had a hand in this decision."
