What’s The Nine-Year-Old reading this week?
Short post today, because reasons {(pick one): summer, construction, would rather be outside, typing on iPad is harder work than on a proper computer, it’s a holiday weekend, OMG is that the laundry pile?}.
Lately, it’s been all Roald Dahl all the time around here
The Nine-Year-Old’s been on a Roald Dahl kick this week. Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, Charlie and the Glass Elevator, The Twits, The BFG… All got read this week, although only The BFG got a picture this week, because {reasons}.
In other vitally important news, The Nine-Year-Old also watched the BBC version of Pride & Prejudice for the very first time this week. I’m certain it won’t be the last. She wants to make a summer project of doing crafts while watching all of the Jane Austen films available through Netflix. This plan warms my heart.
Your construction update:
Enjoy the holiday weekend, y’all.
