On getting out of the car after a long drive, The Six-Year-Old, tiredly: “Daddyo, would you boost me up?”
Daddyo, incredulously: “You’ve just been sitting for hours. Stretch your legs.”
The Six-Year-Old, curiously: “Isn’t standing stretching your legs?”
Daddyo, hesitantly: “Well…”
The Six-Year-Old, triumphantly: “See? I’ve outsmarted you again!”
