The Five-Year-Old makes a Christmas list

One night as The Five-Year-Old kicked up her feet in her favorite chair, her thoughts naturally turned to Christmas.

The Five-Year-Old: “Daddyo, for Christmas I want an erector set, a typewriter, two kittens, and an alarm clock.”

Daddyo: “Why do you want a typewriter for Christmas? I was really surprised by that.”

The Five-Year-Old: “Because it’s my lifelong dream to be a kitty reporter.”

Daddyo: “What kind of stories are you going to write?”

The Five-Year-Old: “Oh, I’m going to write mystery newspapers. I’ll just make them up.”
