Where to send your gently used books–if you can bear to part with them, that is
One of my favorite parenting/book blogs is Playing by the Book, a blog devoted to children’s books and the crazy, fun crafty things they inspire the author to do with her children (Bubbles and Spells and Books Full of Magic — oh my!).
Every year, Playing by the Book posts a list of charities around the world dedicated to promoting books, reading, and literacy. The updated list came out this week, just in time for my latest decluttering project. It’s hard to part with books, but should my mother succeed in her mission to convince me to get rid of the bookcase in my upstairs hall, it’ll be nice to know that my books will go to a good home.

Admit it, Mom. You’d really like me to get rid of both.
